Mouse & The Traps from Tyler, TX are widely recognized amongst 60s garage geeks for their Dylan-esque folk punker "A Public Execution" that was included on Lenny Kaye's pioneering "Nuggets" compilation. Their frantic second single "Maid Of Sugar-Maid Of Spice" is propelled by some wicked guitar work, courtesy of Bugs Henderson, while retaining the same nasally vocal character as Mr. Zimmerman.
